New attachments, available in 10 themed sets, further enhance this shading effect. They work in place of a blender.

After attaching the tip to the marker body, the appropriate color is sucked into the tip and the marker then "shades" in the shade of the absorbed color, which is gradually consumed and turns into a color that matches the ink of the marker, thus creating a rainbow effect between the color of the tip and the color of the marker.
