The "Copic Ciao" series is a semi-professional series, suitable for hobby painting or painting with children. 

The markers are double-sided with with a slanted calligraphy nib and a thinner "brush" nib, the tips are not replaceable, unlike the fully professional Classic and Sketch series. 

The color is on alcohol-based, non-toxic, slightly odorous. It is indelible in water and dries very quickly. 

The markers can be refilled repeatedly using Various ink (the marker body can last up to twelve refills).

Copic Ciao are available in 144 shades, including 12 Skin shades. 

For lightening and color transitions, it is possible to purchase a colorless blender.
